The safeguarding Officer apprenticeship has helped me in my day-to-day role. It has built my confidence and furthered my knowledge and understanding in processes and escalation to ensure I safeguard the young people to the best of my ability. My tutor is knowledgeable and helpful where you can book meetings in with her if you need additional support. They also run webinars on different topics such as trauma informed care which has also been beneficial to my staff team to have an overall better understanding of the young people we look after.
